Property Location 

The property is well located lying just off the south side of the Gore-Tapanui State Highway, about 1km southwest of the Tapanui commercial area in West Otago, South Island, New Zealand.  

Close by is the Tapanui Veterinary Centre and the largest Tulip Horticulture enterprise in the southern hemisphere, Global Bulbs Ltd, plus farms and farmlets.

Tapanui township contains a good range of amenities including Blue Mountain College, retail and stock firm facilities, a community centre which incorporates a 200 seat theatre.  It is also home to Blue Mountain Nurseries, one of NZ’s foremost horticultural nurseries. The nearest major centre is Gore which lies about 30km southwest. 

Tapanui is a very central spot. If a compass circle is drawn you are not far away in travelling time from Milford Sound, Lakes Te Anau, Manapouri, Queenstown, Wanaka, Catlins Coast, Hump Ridge Track near Tuatapere and the cities of Invercargill, Dunedin. Central Otago with all it's attractions is also close by.  The local Pomahaka River is renowned for its brown trout and some very large trout can be caught in the upper reaches.   The world renowned Mataura river is also not far away.  More information is on the Tapanui West Otago website
